Quote from Ve6btc on 2021-09-29, 09:21Just wondering if anyone could link to the steppers used the build sheet specifies a 32mm but for the life of me I can’t seem to find one in Canada that resembles any thing close if some one could share what they are using perhaps I can look up the specs / drawing and find a equivalent
thanks so much for the time and for all the hard work in the project look forward to the build 🙂
have a few future ideas i would love to test once I get a prototype working
cheers,

The motors originally used are called 17HS12-1204S and if you are resided in the european union I have som left in stock that I can sell, please contact me by mail to satran@danaco.se in such case.
Most importantly is that the internal resistance does not differ too much from 2.8Ohms since a larger resistance would make the motors too weak to handle an antenna. Larger resistance = less amperage = less torque.
